We had to celebrate Valerie's 1st birthday in advance on 25 Feb instead as Paul had to go Florida to work on 1st March. It was held in a clubhouse, at one of the apartments. This time round, wanted the party to be a little different than her Full Month party. As an after thought, the Full Month was not properly planned out and seems to be just a gathering of people having a meal at my home. There was nothing special that showed the party was for Valerie.

So this time round, having more energy and a clear mind, I went all out (almost) and made a big hole in Paul's pocket. Hahahahahaha..... Bought balloons to decorate the place; had pink partywares with a special 1st Birthday patterned napkin. Wanted to have all decor and partyware in that same patterned, but it got too expensive. I had a treat bag for the kids (filled with chocolates), bubble blower and also Pinata (a mexican tradition during birthdays - A paper mache filled with sweets are hung out for the kids to hit till it breaks open and all the sweets will start falling out!!). Here are pictures to show for them.
