No more cookfree days...

Just got news that Paul won't be going to Canada anymore.... was a last minute decision from the top. My of my...less than 1 day to flying off...

The guys at work have been working day & night, and even weekends to make sure that they are ready for this trip. Sigh... what a waste of energy and effort... for everyone!

Guess I will have to start planning for next week's "menu".... hee hee hee... Any suggestions?

Liz will be here today at 6pm... atleast I'll have a friend to do stuff with me. Less boring and lonely. I still remember the times when Leona and I would be at preparing for dinner...

Girl, you remember? Really miss those times that we spent together and got to know each other better too. We'll do laundry together, then sun tan & swim while waiting for laundry to be done.

After going in at 10 this morning for briefing, Paul is home. We'll be going to pick Liz up together... bringing Conner & Bailey along. I'll have to think of where to bring Liz for dinner... and get the room ready for her too... wow... lots to do in a couple of hours.

I love Country Apple!!

Just came back from dinner & shopping.... Spent more than $100 on Bath & Body Works products today! Bought like 10 Country Apple Shower gels.....my goodness... what to do... they are discontinuing this fragrant and it's buy one get one free! Practically swept every Country Apple off the shelf!! ahahahahaa

Anyone interested in getting some? Let me know... I think the sale should last for another week. Email me if you want some of it... heheheheheee.....soon too....

War & Beauty

Finally was able to get the extra hard disk to work. Thanks to our friends who helped set it up.

And was able to finish downloading the Hong Kong show by Wed... and I've been watching it... already 6 epi down... heheheehee.... If you get the chance, go watch "War and Beauty" from TVB. I love those "period" costume shows... it shows grace and beauty. Although a very cut-throat atmosphere... it's so exciting. I didn't even wait for Paul!! :OP Couldn't resist lah...

I'll have to thank Sue Yen, my cousin who helped me navigate through the all Chinese website. I was like a bat in daytime... can't see, don't understand...

Will be less online now with my new activity!

Another weekend lost?

Another week has passed... it's always the usual - wake up, exercise, cook, watch tv, sleep... and the cycle starts all over again tomorrow. You might realise that I didn't include housework in the list above...hehehehe That's because I hate doing housework...would usually try to minimize that in my daily to-do list... And as for the weekends, I'm getting bored with it too. We'd usually wake late, and half the day is gone. Paul will be on the computer when his eyes opens.... and it will be difficult to pry his eyes away to do anything else.

I went to the Lasik Clinic with Rochel (Conner's mom) and the 2 rascals... She needed help to take care of them when she was in the surgery and later drive home as her eyesight would still be fuzzy. The clinic is on the east side of town... we went to the Walmart nearby, had McDonald's for lunch and walked around the toy section to keep the kids occupied. By the time I got home, it was already almost 5pm. As for Paul, he washed my car and the toilet bowls and of course, continued with his game till I got home. This i must tell you guys.... he washed only the toilet bowl...literally. Everything else around it stayed the same!! My oh my....that's my husband.

We then went dinner with Pa Ma and their friends. Went back to Pa Ma's home after dinner and played this really fun game called, Blockus. We use equal number of coloured shapes to block each other from placing more shapes on a square tray. The person who has the least shapes when there's no more space or first to finish placing all the shapes win. I won once!! Yeah!!

Sunday, we went to timsum at the Golden Buddha Restaurant. It's located in our little Chinatown. We then continued on to the Ranch Supermarket for chinese groceries. Went to Pa Ma's place again to help them with their cellphone. Lazed around there till dinnertime. Heehheheheee.... dun need to think about what to cook or where to eat. Loved Ma's cooking... yummy.... Played the game Blockus again... and I won again!! Once... better than nothing lah.
